End of Summer

We just returned from a two week vacation, split between
my relatives in Oklahoma and Mick's relatives in Colorado. It was a great trip. Just wish we could have spent a little more time with everyone.

Some Colorado pix:
Caves at Rifle Falls with family.

On top of Lands End on Grand Mesa. That's our road, curving back and forth all the way down.
Our elevation here is over 10,000 feet.

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

Colorado is an amazing state to visit!

In Oklahoma:
We spent a day at the Oklahoma State Fair in Okla. City with my brother, Roy.

And went to Pops on old Route 66 in Arcadia OK. This giant soda bottle lights up at night. The place is a gas station, restaurant and store for a gazillion kinds of sodas in bottles. Fun to visit.

And, I thought I'd throw in a fewe more pix from this summer in Juneau:
Luna with salmonberries.
In front of the tall fireweed.

I hiked up to Granite Creek Basin with Dan and Ashleigh.

This is just the sweetest baby ever!
